This is our channel for videos on various camping, ATV Riding, Hiking and other outdoors fun things. Feel free to jump in and ask questions about trails we have here in Montana and destinations for anything outdoors.
Montana has some magnificent ATV and Snowmobile Trails, and many of them cross back and forth into Idaho. You can leave from St Regis Montana and ride the old Railroad Beds for miles on end, and end up in the Idaho panhandle.
For those who like riding bikes, we have the Hiawatha Trail. This trail is 15 miles long, but don't worry. It's all down hill, and there is a bus to bring you back to the top. Of course you can ride up the trail too if you feel up to it.
This trail winds through the mountain tunnels here in Western Montana, winding it's way up the mountain slopes, through mountain tunnels and over deep canyons. These railroad tracks were donated by the railroads through a program called Rails To Trail, and it is a huge success.
These rail beds have tressels that span high over the beautiful landscape, and have been fitted with safety rails. If you want to ride the Hiawatha Trail, be sure to bring good LED Headlights for the tunnels because they are pitch black inside with no lighting.
This is just one of many attractions in Western Montana and Idaho.
